Music Theory
Students who possess sufficient instrumental skill are invited to take lessons in music theory, where they will come to understand musical structure and form. Theory lessons will develop your musical understanding, and can help you prepare for a college degree in music.
Composition
Composition students will harness their knowledge of music theory to create new, personal works of art. I will guide you in the exploration of a variety of compositional styles to help you find an informed confident voice as a composer.

30 Minute Lessons
30 minute lessons are a great option for beginning students. We’ll have time to review your progress, introduce new techniques, and make a practice plan for the week.

45 Minute Lessons
Intermediate students are encouraged to sign up for 45 minute time slots. This will give us the chance to dig a little deeper into the complexities of expression and musical structure.

60 Minute Lessons
Full-hour lessons are reserved for advanced students. When exploring advanced repertoire, we’ll need the time to focus on important and nuanced details while also getting the chance to play through longer compositions.
